Haynesville: 250 gpm (57 m3/hr) Amine Sweetening Plant
Background
A customer working an asset in the Haynesville Shale region of Texas was using contracted third-party equipment for amine treatment. The economics of this arrangement were unfavorable, and the customer approached Valerus for assistance in building a treating facility on site.
Challenge
The customer’s existing contracts with other equipment vendors and service providers were intact, so the Valerus approach would need to work with and align to a complex operational environment.
Advantage
Valerus designed, delivered and commissioned a 250 gpm (57 m3/hr) amine sweetening plant on time and on budget. In addition, Valerus provided the core components in a manner that preserved the customer’s existing contractual relationships and allowed him, at the end of the day, to own and operate the processing asset.
