Dear Friends of Valerus,
As I assume my new role at Valerus, I wanted to take a moment to share my thanks to Chet for his service to the company and to briefly tell you about my background and commitment to our business.
Chet’s vision, entrepreneurship and energy have guided this company from an idea to a formidable industry player with truly remarkable prospects. I am very pleased that he will continue to serve the company in the strategic role of Vice Chairman of the Board.
For those of you who don’t know me, let me tell you a little about myself. I began my career as a field engineer with Schlumberger, and subsequently had a 12-year career with Bain & Company where I helped drive multiple cost and growth turnarounds. Most recently, I have been a partner in the Operations Group of TPG Capital. I have been COO of Valerus since January and in that role have become familiar with our immense potential for growth, both in the domestic market, as well as overseas.
I am thrilled to be a part of this company at this important time in its history and I am committed to realizing the company’s full potential to lead the industry. I look forward to sharing our successes with you over time and invite you to check back for updates on our progress.
