Peter R. Lane
Chief Executive Officer
Pete Lane is our Chief Executive Officer. Pete joined Valerus at the start of 2010 as COO and became CEO in August 2010.
Prior to joining Valerus, Pete was a partner in the operations group of TPG Capital. Prior to his employment with TPG, he spent 12 years with Bain & Company and led the Dallas and Mexico City offices, as well as the oil and gas practice. He began his career with Schlumberger as an engineer and operations manager.
Pete is a Board Member for Valerus and Petro Harvester.
Pete holds a Bachelor of Science degree in physics from the University of Birmingham in the U.K., and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School, where he graduated with highest honors as a Palmer Scholar.
