Kerry Galvin
Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Secretary
Kerry Galvin is the senior vice president, general counsel and secretary. In this capacity, she is responsible for coordinating and providing legal, compliance, environmental and facilities management services across all of Valerus’ businesses. Kerry joined Valerus in May 2010.
Kerry was senior vice president and general counsel of Lyondell Chemical Company, a publicly traded global chemical company, from May 2000 through December 2007.
Kerry began her career in private practice in Houston, Texas, with the law firm of Mayor, Day, Caldwell and Keaton. She is a director of the American Corporate Counsel Association and a member of the American Bar Association and Texas Bar Association. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Alumni Association of the University of Michigan.
Kerry graduated cum laude from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service and cum laude from the University of Michigan with a J.D.
