Houston, TX (August 12, 2010) – The Board of Directors of Valerus Compression Services announced today that Chief Executive Officer, Charles (Chet) Erwin is transitioning from his role as CEO to a new strategic role of Vice Chairman of the Board. The Board has named Pete Lane, former Valerus Chief Operating Officer, as Erwin’s successor.
Mr. Lane brings to the position deep experience in the oil and gas industry. He began his career as a field engineer with Schlumberger and has spent his career in and around the energy sector. He has served as COO of Valerus since January.
