Houston, TX (May 10, 2010) – Valerus Compression Services (http://www.valerus-co.com) today announced that its board of directors has named R. Todd Rimmer to serve as the company's chief financial officer and senior vice president, and Gary C. McKinney to serve as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).
Since February 2008, Rimmer has served as senior vice president and chief financial officer of Sequent Energy Management, a wholly owned subsidiary of Atlanta-based AGL Resources (NYSE:AGL). While at Sequent, Rimmer was responsible for accounting, finance, IS&T and credit functions including SOX compliance.

Chet Erwin, Valerus chief executive officer and board member, said that the Valerus board unanimously selected Rimmer based on his track record for leading complex organizations, as well as his strong executive and personal qualities.
McKinney joins Valerus as CHRO and will be responsible for the global Human Resources function. Prior to Valerus, he served as vice president of human resources for AMEC, plc, where he was responsible for HR strategy, including talent acquisition plans, to support the rapid growth of the business. He was also responsible for providing leadership in company transformation initiatives, along with guidance and direction on internal change management processes. Previously, McKinney held senior management roles with Landmark Graphics Corporation and Compaq, both located in Houston.
